New books will be in the ‘New Books’ area on the left side of the library for a couple of months.  After books have ‘rested’ in this area for awhile, they go to their proper place on the shelves.  I have just replaced the books on the “New Books” area, so if there was one from a previous month’s newsletter you were interested in, you will find it among the other books.  Sooooo.  There are file drawers on that same table between the windows that hold index cards on each book in the Library.  They are divided into 3 types:

1.  By Author – alphabetically (but not precisely – you may have to wade around in the GRA’S a bit if you wanted to find Graham)

2.  By Title – alphabetically (again, not precisely)

3.  By Subject – which is what I will discuss next month.
