In their day and age, it would be inconceivable for men like Jesus’ disciples to teach and preach with any sense of authority or power in the eyes of the church. As far as the high priests were concerned, Peter and the gang were merely bothersome heretic disciples of a defunct cult leader. And so, as the apostles taught the Love and Grace of Jesus Christ and the Healing Power of God they were confronted and called out by the religious elites because they were not trained and recognized as doers of God’s Will. They were being judged for preaching a message that granted Salvation to all people through the Living Word of God.
They were teaching a lifestyle that undermined the industrial religious machine that controlled their entire culture. They were proclaiming the Good News Of universal Grace.
It would seem that our understanding today is becoming more and more like the people under the rule of the Pharisees and Sadducees of old.
We have been led to believe that we are inadequate to understand God. We have been trained to rely on human mediators.
We have been conditioned to trust and obey the rulers of this world, and this has only led us into the darkness of ignorance and injustice.
Hear me now and believe me later...
You have been recognized by the Creator of the universe.
You have been granted the Power of Eternal Life.
You have been given the Keys to the Kingdom.
Never be afraid to exercise your right to Righteousness because,
“...the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!”
If your Faith journey has led you to an believe that you are underqualified to bring healing to this world then you need to stop and turn around… you have taken a wrong turn.
We have all been given the very breath of God.
We have all been given a Spirit of Power and of Love.
We have all been given soul dominion over our own earthen vessel and these cracked-pots possess all the training and authority that we need for Salvation… Grace.
And even though we sometimes reject that stone of Mercy, it is the rock-solid foundation on which Heaven is built, and in my Father’s House, there is enough room for everyone!
God is Good!
